About me

Hello! My name is Syamsul and I am someone who likes enjoying the thrills of exploring new things. I got into frontend development because I wasn’t great at CSS and wanted to master it from scratch. Once I got the hang of it, it became really addictive. Now, not only do I have the proficient in CSS, but I also genuinely enjoy frontend work. As In addition to front-end work, I also have experience working on back-end projects. In my free time, I enjoy working on personal projects to keep myself updated with the ecosystem, you can check them out on my resume.

Recently, I have been working on Cogniviruses Outbreak, a web-based AI-powered RPG game that gamifies Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Built with React.js, HTML5 Canvas, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Docker, this game aims to empower users to identify and manage cognitive distortions—negative and inaccurate thought patterns—through fun and addictive gameplay. The project is still ongoing, and I am actively working on adding more level variations and improving its AI especially on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
